The Invasive Species Seasonal Crew Leader and Crew Members (2) work with the Coordinator to implement the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative grant, which funds the position. Primary responsibilities working with partner organizations to control terrestrial invasive plants throughout the region, working with private land owners, and engaging volunteers. Grand Traverse County Garlic Mustard Workbee and Lunch

untilJoin ISN & local partners to remove invasive garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata) from the Natural Education Reserve by the Boardman River Nature Center. Then, stay after for a delicious garlic mustard-themed lunch. This is a workbee for all ages! All volunteers will also receive an ISN tee shirt as a thank you for participating. Dress for the weather, and bring garden gloves if you prefer. We will work rain or shine!RSVPs are recommended to ensure lunch will be available. You can sign up here.
