Purple Loosetrife in dry areas?

Recommended Posts

Hi All. I was at a site yesterday where they're restoring some Prairie land, and there was a large area of purple loosetrife. Michigan Flora lists purple loosetrife as an obligate wetland species, but the area looked pretty dry to me. just curious if anyone else has seen this happening at other sites.lW2nZEVOALZgwGmqjJ9KNPIZbfGrIB6o_lW6txcDVCaQZ4mAWPeRiz6vJK4diZau-fjmCEM61ojIT8Ce5TPv8FmnbzOvmeFUeS9-u-CRxu0tzfmxaY0UhxDUghtiWOHCYUaJf-DsRbRMVQoJa1nXxKf6vqiOHvnlWdp9euLeEfyuFY7Rzi2Mmad7pgHiCe8vhWHqWbLAKRr9R4FoWqOxv3wuh2o6Lk8K713-Hdtk5SH81rIxYbrg-X4PNLisNVDCq2KkEjP0ADNKjNsezY4dHYginngiaUpu27ZPvFGQj8FLCrvcu91l1IP2sLRZ0jRntunwT5rHcShM40K6pHFzbaduoDzf3Px00CARMubqcDCZIOoSuMxRb7hTh6YNGTwBM5UB9jGfxqlK9iU9BukfiWYqDFucYGIlSZ8bUkSboZm1LftRSmduz2Ynd1Jo5l5_isC6Yh9d2kknoTWCgQDu_eXQFkxrgm4Cg1eWyMMIqHVoQvefXst1NttzgqjmdPm4sfJGXhjaq26lP7wzBk-kBiAsOPsaOeZGxHQ6W3sM8JcFqxqf1JKcHdDSj9qM6z97Ssbfi_OrGc6aBtHIm4ZleWI89ph7CCd_HB6ANJxOSUN8cbcV4K4e3lMRUXWrBgbdzT-yw6YC22SBQdw-sPIicX5DAE-2nm33KEgz8N40uud9vC5zJkJ27BAA7kvblAIy99E_7lXgcThaF47e6dcnHR8=w1716-h1287-no?authuser=0
