Emberdrake Posted August 16, 2018 Report Posted August 16, 2018 Hello im new here but am looking for help to eradicate a stand of japanese knotwood. Ive already dug it all out once and it stayed manageable till this year. I did not know what it was when i pulled it out on 2013 but i do now and need it gone. Everything ive been pulling since i discovered what it is, has been burned. Quote
Claire Peterson Posted August 17, 2018 Report Posted August 17, 2018 Welcome! I've attached the Japanese knotweed Best Control Practices PDF that may offer some assistance. Out of curiosity, where are you located? JapaneseKnotweedBCP.pdf Quote

If you need additional help, please go to our main website http://www.michiganinvasives.org/ and find your local cooperative invasive species management area. They would be more than happy to provide you with additional information and help if possible. Quote
Sigrid Resh Posted August 21, 2018 Report Posted August 21, 2018 If you wanted to try a chemical free approach, I can share how I am managing it. But it is a work in progress, so no conclusive results...yet. Quote
Erica Clites Posted March 25, 2020 Report Posted March 25, 2020 @Sigrid Resh any update on this chemical free approach? Quote
